Embarrassingly… I went my whole life thinking linen was just another word for bedding. I had no idea it was a type of material! I fell in love with the relaxed cozy look of linen bedding in general and was so surprised when I discovered the soft breathable luxurious texture. This Parachute Home duvet cover is amazing!
I was really worried about keeping a white duvet cover clean especially with two big dogs and a cat, but we’ve had ours almost 2 years and it looks brand new! I’ve never even had to bleach it but I do throw a scoop of Oxi-Clean in with every load! I also pre-treat stains with Shout.
Linen has great breathability and feels so lightweight and luxurious against your skin. I get reallllly hot at night. Like I wake up sweating and sleep with my feet hanging off the side of the bed trying to stay cool lol. I LOVEEE sleeping with just our down duvet + cover on top of me! I still get to feel all cozy and tucked in without overheating. And the best part is that they get softer every time you wash them!
I’m dying to try the linen sheets next. They were on my wishlist this last Black Friday but we spent too money on other things for our house and ended up not getting them.
My first Parachute Home duvet cover ended up with a little tear in the side seam and they actually sent me a brand new one free of charge š¤ So now I have 2 and it makes it super nice to have a clean one folded and ready to put on the bed. They come tucked inside a matching linen sack and I love keeping my spare one folded inside the sack to keep everything clean and put together.
I researched a ton trying to find the best affordable linen duvet cover / sheets and Parachute Home was voted the “best bang for your buck” on a few different sites. I don’t know if I’d call them affordable, but they are worth it!
